GGC, a particular firm was established in 1991, after Gold Control Act,
introduced way back in 1968, was repealed by the Government of India.
Our services include Assaying and Refining of scrap Gold/Silver
Jewellery, Manufacture of Silver Bars/Coins and Hallmarking of
Gold/Silver Jewellery/Artefacts. GGC has over 15 respect and trust of
the Bullion Dealer/Jewellery Retailer across the region.
GGC's refinery for gold and silver is one of the best equipped refineries in India.
The Hallmarking Center at Ahmedabad has been recognized since April
2000 and the Center at Vadaodara has also been recognized since
February 2006 by Bureau of Indian Standards [BIS] as an “Assaying and
Hallmarking Center” under the BIS Hallmarking scheme. The Gold Assay
Laboratory at Ahmedabad is accredited as per ISO/IEC 17025 by National
Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories [NABL]. GGC
has a place of pride among labs to be accredited by NABL in India.
Since the initiation of the activity of Hallmarking from the July 2000,
GGC has hallmarked nearly 2.5 million pieces of Jewellery articles and
today enjoys the status of one of the leading Gold refineries and
hallmarking centers for Gold Jewellery in India.
Today, mark GGC on Gold is one of the most recognized marks not only
in the state of Gujarat but in many other important bullion/jewellery
trading centers across the country.
